Nanshiyang Grand Canyon

Nanshiyang Grand Canyon reopened on August 25, featuring a wealth of natural landscapes, geological formations, and cultural heritage. As you traverse the canyon, you will encounter winding, deep pathways flanked by towering cliffs composed of sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks, steep and sharp as if cut by knife.

Admission: CNY 85 per person, including entrance and round-trip ferry service.

Lower Pagoda Forest of Tanzhe Temple

Tanzhe Temple now consists of the upper and lower pagoda courtyards. In 2019 its upper pagoda forest was reopened to the public first.

The lower pagoda forest has also reopened to the public recently. Within the courtyard, there are more than 70 ancient pagodas dating back to the Jin, Yuan, and Ming dynasties. These structures are adorned with intricate decorations and exhibit a variety of designs, reflecting the exceptional skills and ingenuity of ancient Chinese architectural craftsmanship.

Liuli Xinggu

A new leisure destination, Liuli Xinggu (which literally means "Starry Valley of Colored Glaze"), was recently opened in Mentougou District, focusing on promoting the region's renowned colored glaze culture and highlighting the picturesque landscapes of western Beijing.

The scenic area is situated at Liuliqu Village in Longquan Town. The venue offers a diverse range of attractions, including exhibitions and sales of creative cultural products, a pet park, outdoor dining spots, agricultural leisure activities, and unique boutique accommodations. Additionally, the park regularly hosts various cultural and recreational events, such as the water splashing festival and evening performances.

Among the many newly opened destinations, which one is your favorite?
