National Day Beijing Fengtai District Cultural Centre carefully planned a series of cultural activities

  China's National Day Golden Week has come to an end, and the cultural activities planned by Fengtai District have also come to an end, with many novel forms and richly-contained activity projects lighting up the holiday life of the public and leaving deep and wonderful memories.

Fengtai District Cultural Centre carefully planned a series of cultural activities for seven days during the holiday. ‘On the 11th day of the holiday, more than 200 teachers and students from the Xinjiang class of the 10th Middle School in Beijing were invited to watch the weekend variety show, and every programme was filled with the festive atmosphere of the holiday. Fengtai District Library, in conjunction with the National Day theme, carried out a number of reading promotion activities, online and offline benefited more than 40,500 people. The actors' exquisite skills and gorgeous costumes won applause from the audience.

The Peking Opera face mask painting activity attracted many parent-child families to participate, hand-painting their own Peking Opera face masks and experiencing the unique flavour of traditional culture.

With their unique shapes and rich colours, Beijing lanterns have decorated the nights of countless festivals. At this event, audience members witnessed how lantern artists transformed ordinary materials into dazzling works of art.
