The Tongzhou branch of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources implements the guidelines and policies of the Central Committee of the Party on planning and natural resources, decision-making and deployment, as well as the relevant requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and the District Party Committee, and adheres to and strengthens the Party's centralised and unified leadership of the work of planning and natural resources in the performance of its duties. The main responsibilities are.

(a) to perform the district all the land, minerals, forests, wetlands, water and other natural resources asset owners and all the land use control responsibilities, publicity, implementation, implementation of the national natural resources and land spatial planning and mapping, surveying and design management of laws, regulations, rules, policies and standards.

(2) Implementing the Beijing Urban Master Plan, organising the preparation and implementation of the district's territorial spatial planning, zoning planning, detailed control planning and special planning for public services, public security facilities, urban infrastructure, urban underground space, etc., as required. (c) Responsible for the control of the use of land space in the district. Responsible for the implementation and management of natural resources and land space planning. (d) Responsible for natural resources survey, monitoring and evaluation in the district. Organise basic survey, special survey and monitoring of natural resources. Responsible for natural resources and real estate unified rights registration. Adjust relevant ownership disputes in accordance with the law.

(E) is responsible for the district's natural resources assets paid use. It is responsible for accounting for all natural resources assets and compiling a balance sheet of all natural resources assets. It is responsible for the management of natural resource asset valuation and the collection of related asset revenues in accordance with the law. Responsible for the rational development and utilisation of natural resources. It organises and carries out price assessment for natural resources grading, evaluates and assesses the use of natural resources, and guides the economical and intensive use of natural resources. Responsible for natural resources market supervision.

(f) Responsible for the protection of arable land and basic farmland protection management in the district. Responsible for the land use of space diversion work. Responsible for land acquisition and requisition management. Responsible for the management of arable land occupation and compensation balance. Organise and implement land consolidation and reclamation.

(g) Responsible for co-ordinating the ecological restoration of land space in the district. Take the lead in organising the preparation of ecological restoration planning for the land space and implement relevant ecological restoration projects. Responsible for the comprehensive improvement of land space, mining geological environment restoration and governance. It is responsible for the prevention and management of geological disasters, and undertakes the technical support work for the emergency rescue of geological disasters. Responsible for the rational use of mineral resources and protection of supervision and management.

(H) is responsible for natural resources and land space planning in the region of science and technology, information technology and statistical work. Undertake supervision and management work related to survey and design, surveying and mapping. Undertake the management of archives related to natural resources and territorial spatial planning.

(ix) To be responsible for the supervision of the management of natural resources and territorial spatial planning in the district. Undertake planning verification of engineering and construction projects in accordance with the law. Investigate and deal with cases of natural resources development and utilisation and homeland spatial planning and survey and design, surveying and mapping violations.

(J) Complete other tasks assigned by the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission and the district committee and government.
