Guangxi Cultural Tourism Development Conference 2024 - Changzhou District, Wuzhou City invites you to a cultural tourism feast

Activities: Organise tourists and photography enthusiasts to show the image of Fuwan Village and tell the story of Fuwan Village from any angle, such as ‘five gardens in one’, and capture the integration of ‘agriculture’, ‘culture’, ‘tourism’, ‘people’ and ‘production’ through the positive perspective, heartwarming picture content and novel and unique camera language. ‘Culture’, “Tourism”, “People”, “Industry” integration of the development of exciting moments, including but not limited to natural scenery, economic development, non-heritage culture, and villagers' appearance.

II. Six Fort Tea Tasting Event

Venue: Six Fort Tea Exhibition and Experience Centre

Activities: Tea masters are invited to perform tea ceremony to show the brewing skills and drinking etiquette of Liu Bao tea, so that visitors can have a deeper understanding of the cultural connotation of Liu Bao tea.

III. Ceremony of the opening of the drums

Venue: Golden Laurel

Activities: Organise a drumming ceremony to feel the weight of traditional culture, to sound the strong sound of a better life in the new era, and to convey people's prayers for a better life and respect for traditional culture.

IV. Folklore Wedding Show

Venue: Inside Fuwan Village

Activities: Arrange an ancient wedding ceremony performance, with sedan chair, water pouring ‘eight sounds’ and other teams, to reproduce the lively scene of the ancient marriage customs.

V. Research activities for primary and secondary school students

Place: Fuwan Scenic Spot
Time: 9:00-12:00 on 12-15 November
Activities: Experience the charm of farming culture and non-heritage traditional culture by participating in farming cultural activities (set of chickens and ducks, etc.), handmade soybean milk, turtle jelly and other study activities.

VI. Display of Pouring Water Speciality Food

Venue: Food Street
Time: 12-14 November, 9:00-17:30
Activities: Pouring water food selling activities, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Wuzhou food culture.

VII. Agricultural experience and fun activities

Venue: Farming Experience Centre
Time: 13 November, 9:30-12:00
Activities: Experience making bean curd, sour pork, wine, soya milk and turtle jelly. Catching chickens/ducks/geese, blindfolded gong-beating, ball-carrying relay (3 men and 3 women), ball-pinching race, harvesting and planting, and traditional rice-sifting competition, and other fun activities.

VIII. Cultural performances

Venue: Jin Gui Plaza Stage
Time: 9:30-11:00 on 13th November
Activity content: performances such as ‘Sleepless Tonight’, ‘Hot and Spicy Skewers Walking in Style’, ‘I Love You China’, ‘Farmers’ Runway Show’, “Friend's Wine”, “In the Fields of Hope”, “Butterfly Love in the Red Dust” and other cultural and artistic performances.

IX. The Eagle Speaks of Antiquity

Venue: Connecting Tree

Activity: To tell the important history of Pour Shui Town, celebrities and aspirants, cultural relics and sites, and interesting folk stories in Cantonese.
