Fangchenggang Municipal Education Bureau Functional Information
(a) Implementing the laws and regulations on education and the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and the Municipal Party Committee on education. Formulate policies and plans for the reform and development of the city's education, draft local laws and regulations on education, and organize the implementation of local laws and regulations on education.

(d) Responsible for the overall management of education funding, participating in the formulation of policies on education funding, education appropriation, student financial assistance, and investment in education infrastructure, and responsible for statistics on the city's investment in education funding.
(v) Responsible for the reform and development of basic education. It is responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and the promotion of educational equity, and for promoting the development of general high school education, pre-school education and special education. It formulates the basic requirements for teaching in basic education, organizes and validates the teaching materials for local curricula in basic education, validates the catalog of books for primary and secondary schools, and comprehensively implements quality education.
