Beijing Dongcheng District Medical Security Bureau Functional Information
The main duties are.
(a) To implement the laws and regulations and policies and treatment provisions of the State and Beijing Municipality on medical insurance, maternity insurance, medical assistance and other medical security systems, to formulate policies, plans and standards related to medical security in the district, and to organise their implementation.
(2) Responsible for the budget, management and disbursement of the medical insurance fund in the district.
(3) Organising and implementing the city's publicly-funded medical policies, and undertaking the management of publicly-funded medical care for central institutions in Beijing within the district. It is responsible for the co-ordination of medical expenses of retired cadres in the district. It organises and implements the long-term care insurance system.
(d) To organise the implementation of policies on the procurement of drugs and medical consumables, and the charging of fees for medical services and facilities within the jurisdiction of medical institutions, and to establish a system for monitoring and releasing price information. Organise the implementation of bidding and procurement of drugs and medical consumables.
(E) is responsible for the agreement management of the region's designated medical institutions, the implementation of medical insurance credit evaluation system and information disclosure system, supervision and management of medical services included in the scope of medical insurance and medical costs, investigate and deal with violations of the law in the field of medical insurance.
(f) Responsible for the management of medical insurance, public service system and information construction in the region. Organisation and implementation of the management of medical care in other places, cost settlement policy and platform construction. Organising and implementing the system of transferring and continuing medical insurance relations.
(vii) Completing other tasks assigned by the district party committee and the district government.
