Beijing Fengtai District Municipal Commission of Urban Management Functional Information
(a) Implementing the relevant national laws and regulations, strategic plans and policies and measures on urban management; implementing the city's local laws and government regulations on the comprehensive coordination of urban management and urban and rural environment construction, management of municipal environment and sanitation, management of day-to-day operation of energy resources, and management of relevant municipal public utilities; and organising the implementation of the city's urban management and urban and rural environment construction of the development plan and annual plan.
(b) Being responsible for formulating medium- and long-term plans and annual plans for municipal, public utilities and environmental sanitation work in the district, and organising their implementation.

(E) is responsible for the formulation of sanitation infrastructure construction planning; is responsible for the organization, management, supervision and inspection of environmental hygiene in this district, including the green belts on both sides of the roads in the built-up area of the city, within the scope of management of urban rivers and lakes (excluding waters); assumes the supervisory and managerial responsibilities for the sweeping, collecting, storing, transporting and disposing of domestic rubbish; and assumes the supervisory and managerial responsibilities relating to the renewable resources recycling industry.
(vi) Organising the preparation of medium and long-term development plans and special plans for urban and rural environment construction and management in Fengtai District, and organising their implementation; formulating standards for urban and rural environment construction and management in Fengtai District, and reviewing and approving environmental upgrading plans for key areas of urban and rural environment construction in Fengtai District; establishing and improving long-term management mechanisms, and coordinating the solution of problems in areas related to urban and rural environment construction and management.
(vii) Participating in the study of medium- and long-term development planning of roads, bridges and other transport infrastructure construction in the district; responsible for the formulation of annual plans for the construction of roads, bridges and other transport infrastructure in the district; responsible for the construction, coordination and supervision of the construction of secondary roads and the following planned roads in the city. Responsible for the district road excavation construction and temporary occupation approval; undertake the district road and its ancillary facilities maintenance management and maintenance and renovation.
