Fengtai Branch of Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources Functional Information

1. To be responsible for the planning and natural resources management of the district.

2. Promote the territorial spatial planning of the district to cover the whole area and ‘multi-planning’; strengthen the preparation and implementation of the district's planning; maintain the seriousness and authority of the planning; strengthen the development of volume reduction and promote the function of evacuation and upgrading, and so on.

3. Responsible for collective land management, basic farmland protection, arable land protection, land reclamation, and the development, utilisation and protection of mineral resources (except geothermal) in the district.
