Guiyang Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission
(a) Organizing research and studies on ethnic theories, ethnic and religious policies and major issues in ethnic and religious work, analysing and summarizing relevant work dynamics and information, and putting forward policy recommendations on ethnic and religious work.
Secondly, it formulates opinions on the implementation of laws and regulations on ethnic and religious affairs, drafts relevant ethnic and religious laws and regulations and policy measures, coordinates, promotes and supervises the fulfillment of duties related to ethnic and religious work by the relevant departments, and promotes the implementation and convergence of ethnic and religious policies and laws and regulations in the relevant fields of economic development and social undertakings.
Third, organizing and guiding the publicity and education of ethnic and religious policies, ethnic and religious laws and regulations, responsible for matters relating to the recognition of progress in national unity, guiding and coordinating major ethnic and religious festivals, responsible for the management of foreign affairs in the area of religious affairs, organizing and guiding the religious community to religious contacts with foreign countries as well as with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and participating in the foreign propaganda work involving ethnicity and religion.
Fourth, to put forward proposals for coordinating ethnic and religious relations; to coordinate the handling of important matters and incidents in ethnic and religious relations and ethnic and religious affairs; to participate in social stabilization work in the field of ethnicity and religion; to prevent the use of ethnic relations and the use of religion to carry out illegal activities; and to resist the infiltration of foreign countries that use religion to carry out infiltration activities.

Guiding religious groups to carry out their activities in accordance with the law and regulations, supporting religious groups to strengthen their self-construction, promoting religious groups to carry out self-education on patriotism and love of religion, embracing the unity of the motherland and national unity in the religious community, and taking charge of handling the related affairs and administrative licensing supervision of the religious groups that need to be solved by the government.
VIII. Participating in the formulation of minority talent team construction planning, contacting minority cadres, assisting the relevant departments to do a good job in the cultivation, selection and use of minority cadres; undertake the training of personnel related to the religious workforce.
