Beijing Dongcheng District Business Bureau is responsible for implementing the guidelines and policies of the Party Central Committee on domestic and foreign trade, foreign investment and foreign economic cooperation, decision-making and deployment, as well as the Municipal Party Committee and the District Committee of the relevant work requirements, to adhere to and strengthen the Party's leadership of the work of domestic and foreign trade and foreign economic cooperation into the fulfilment of their duties. The main responsibilities are:

Organise the demonstration and scheduling of major projects for the utilisation of foreign investment in the region. Responsible for the statistical analysis of the utilisation of foreign investment. Responsible for the use of foreign investment and the World Trade Organisation affairs related to the consultation.
(C) is responsible for the region's investment in foreign investment projects in the main body of the audit. Guiding the foreign affairs work and foreign investment promotion of the foreign trade industry in the region, promoting the development of service outsourcing and import and export trade. It is responsible for the invitation of foreign businessmen to China, the audit of economic and trade travelling abroad on official business and the management of processing trade. Responsible for foreign economic cooperation in the region.
(D) in conjunction with the relevant departments to organise the preparation of the layout planning of commodity circulation and living services outlets and facilities in the region. Organisation to promote the innovative development of modern circulation methods and regional business cooperation. Coordinate the planning and construction of commercial centres, characteristic commercial streets and various types of commodity trading markets in the region, promote the development of commercial and trade services and community commerce, and promote the standardisation of circulation and the development of modern circulation methods such as chain management, logistics and distribution, and e-commerce. Take the lead in promoting the quality of living service industry and the development of related industries.
(e) Coordinate and promote the development of business services in the region, and work with relevant departments to formulate business services development plans, policies and organise their implementation. Research and formulate policies to promote business service industry such as consulting, exhibition, etc., and expand the opening up of business service industry socialisation. Promote the specialisation and scale development of local business service organisations. In conjunction with relevant departments, carry out the work of upgrading the surrounding environment and supporting services of business service buildings. (vi) Organise and implement market regulation and government reserve of important consumer goods, establish and improve the emergency mechanism for market supply of essential commodities, monitor and analyse market operation, supply and demand of commodities, and carry out forecasting, early warning and information guidance.
