Beijing Fengtai District Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau Functional Information
Fengtai District Medical Security Bureau to implement the guidelines and policies of the Party Central Committee on medical security work, decision-making and deployment of the Municipal Party Committee, the District Committee of the relevant work requirements, in the performance of their duties to adhere to and strengthen the Party's centralised and unified leadership of the medical security work. The main responsibilities are:

(2) Being responsible for the budget, management and allocation of the medical insurance fund in the district.
(3) Organising and implementing the city's publicly-funded medical policies, and undertaking the management of publicly-funded medical care for central institutions in Beijing. It is responsible for the co-ordination of medical expenses of retired cadres in the district. Organising and implementing the long-term care insurance system.
(d) Organise the implementation of policies on the procurement of drugs and medical consumables, medical service items and charges for medical service facilities by medical institutions in the region, and establish a system for monitoring and releasing price information. Organisation of the implementation of drugs, medical consumables bidding and procurement work.
(E) is responsible for the agreement management of the region's designated medical institutions, the implementation of medical insurance credit evaluation system and information disclosure system, supervision and management of medical and pharmaceutical services included in the scope of medical insurance and medical costs, investigate and deal with violations of the law in the field of medical insurance.
(f) Responsible for the management of medical insurance, public service system and information construction in the region. Organisation and implementation of the management of medical treatment in other places, cost settlement policy and platform construction.
