Beijing Tongzhou Distric Municipal Bureau of Statistics Functional Information
(a) Implementing national and municipal laws, regulations, rules and regulations on statistics, as well as statistical systems and standards; assuming responsibility for organising, leading and coordinating the statistical work of the whole region, and ensuring that statistical data are true, accurate and timely.
(b) Responsible for implementing the national economic accounting system, organising and implementing the national economic accounting system and input-output surveys in the region, and compiling and providing national economic accounting information.
(c) It is responsible for organising and implementing the census of population, economy, agriculture and other major national conditions and forces in the region; formulating, in conjunction with the relevant departments, plans and programmes for the census and special surveys of major regional conditions and forces, and organising and implementing them; and summarising, collating and providing statistical data on regional conditions and forces.
(d) To be responsible for organising and implementing statistical surveys on various sectors of the national economy of the region, collecting, summarising, collating and providing statistical data on the relevant surveys, and comprehensively collating and providing basic statistical data on the region as a whole, such as those on transport, postal services, education, health, social security and public utilities.
(v) Responsible for organising and implementing statistical surveys on energy, investment, price, income, science and technology, population, labour force, tourism, basic social development, basic environment, etc. of the whole region, and collecting, summarising, collating and providing statistical data of the relevant surveys.
(vi) It is responsible for organising statistical surveys on economy, society, science and technology, and resources and environment in townships, street offices and departments, unifying the approval, management and publication of basic statistics of the whole region, and regularly releasing statistical information reflecting the development of the national economy and society.
(vii) Responsible for statistical analysis, statistical forecasting and statistical supervision of the national economy, social development, scientific and technological progress and resource environment of the whole district, and providing statistical information and consulting suggestions to the district party committee, the district government and relevant departments.
(viii) Reviewing or filing the statistical survey projects of various departments, townships and street offices in accordance with the law, guiding the basic work of professional statistics and the construction of statistical grass-roots business infrastructure, establishing and improving the system of reviewing, monitoring and evaluating the quality of statistical data, carrying out reviewing, monitoring and evaluating important statistical data, and supervising and managing the activities of foreign-related surveys in accordance with the law.
(ix) Guiding the construction of statistical professional and technical team, statistical education and training in the region, and assisting the relevant departments to do a good job in the work related to the qualification examination of statistics.
(J) to establish, improve and manage the statistical information automation system and statistical database system in the district, implement the basic standards and operation rules of the statistical database and network of the municipal headquarter.
(xi) Undertake other matters assigned by the district government and the Municipal Bureau Headquarters.
