Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Statistics Functional Information
The Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Statistics is the organization directly under the People's Government of Guizhou Province in charge of the province's statistical work, managing the province's economic, social, scientific and technological, demographic and other important data statistics and national economic accounting, as well as managing information on national and provincial conditions and strengths. It is also under the operational leadership of the National Bureau of Statistics. Its main duties are
I. To carry out and implement the guidelines, policies, laws, regulations and standards, methods and statistical reporting system of the national statistical work, to formulate the province's statistical modernization plan, statistical survey plans and survey programs, to establish the province's statistical methods, systems, statistical survey projects and statistical reporting system, to establish and improve the system of national economic accounting and the system of statistical indicators.
Second, organizing and implementing various statistical surveys and major national census, summarizing and collating basic statistical information of the province, conducting statistical analysis, statistical forecasting and statistical supervision of the national economy, scientific and technological progress and social development, and providing statistical information and consulting suggestions to the provincial party committee, the provincial people's government and relevant departments.
Third, manage the province's social and economic surveys, approve the statistical survey plans and survey programs of various departments, participate in statistical legislation, supervise and inspect the implementation of statistical laws and regulations.
IV. To unify the approval, management and publication of basic statistical information of the province, and to regularly release statistical information on the national economic and social development of the province to the public.
V. To establish, improve and manage the province's statistical information automation system and statistical database system, and to standardize the standards of various statistical databases and statistical data networks.
Sixth, the management of counties and counties above the statistical administrative department of the statistical utility costs and special funds; to assist in the management of local, state and municipal Bureau of Statistics Director, Deputy Director; to assist the National Bureau of Statistics management of urban socio-economic survey team, rural socio-economic survey team and enterprise survey team; in conjunction with the relevant departments to organize and manage the province's statistical qualification exams and job evaluation and recruitment work.
