Hainan Provincial Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission Functional Information

Hainan Provincial Ethnic Affairs Commission, for the province's ethnic work in charge of the people's government of Hainan Province, a constituent department. (d) Participating in the management of minority languages and writing systems, and participating in the resolution of minority education issues.

(e) To be responsible for organizing major cultural activities for ethnic minorities in the province, and to participate in the organization of traditional sports events for ethnic minorities in the province; to guide the collection, collation, and publication of ethnic minority history and culture and other aspects.

(vi) Participating in the formulation of the province's minority talent team building plan, and contacting minority cadres. It assists the relevant departments in the cultivation, education and utilization of minority cadres.

(g) To be responsible for the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's and State's guidelines, policies, laws and regulations by the affiliated institutions, and to supervise their non-operating state-owned assets in cooperation with the relevant departments.

(viii) To be responsible for the education and training of the staff of the province's ethnic system; to inspect and guide the construction of the province's ethnic workforce.

(ix) To undertake the work assigned by the provincial government and higher authorities; to inspect and guide the ethnic work of cities and counties.
