Haikou Municipal Health Committee Functional Information
(a) Responsible for researching, formulating and organizing the implementation of policies, regulations and development plans for health and wellness work in the city, and studying and proposing opinions and recommendations on health and wellness related to the city's promotion of the construction of the Pilot Free Trade Zone of China (Hainan) and the Free Trade Port of Chinese Characteristics.

(D) is responsible for formulating and organizing the implementation of the city's disease prevention and control planning, immunization planning and intervention measures for serious public health problems that endanger people's health; is responsible for the city's health emergency response work, organizing and guiding the prevention and control of public health emergencies and various types of public emergencies of medical and health care rescue; is responsible for the city's important meetings and major events of the health care protection work.

(F) is responsible for organizing and implementing the national drug policy and basic drug system, and carrying out food safety risk monitoring.
(VII) is responsible for guiding and regulating the administrative law enforcement work of health; is responsible for the supervision and management of infectious disease prevention and control, occupational hygiene, radiation hygiene, environmental hygiene, school hygiene, health of public places, drinking water hygiene and other public health within the scope of its duties; organizes and promotes the city's health promotion and education work; and takes the lead in the city's tobacco control work.
(viii) Responsible for the health care of the city's health care recipients; responsible for the city's medical institutions and medical service industry admission management; establish the city's medical service evaluation and supervision and management system.
(ix) Responsible for the city's family planning management and services, carrying out population monitoring and early warning, researching and proposing policies related to population and family development, and improving family planning policies; guiding the operational work of the city's family planning association.
(j) Organizing the formulation and coordinating the implementation of policies and measures to cope with population aging, and responsible for promoting the construction of the city's elderly health service system and the integration of medical care.
(xi) Responsible for the approval of health administrative licenses.
(xii) Guiding the construction of health care personnel and primary health care, maternal and child health service system and general practitioner team. Organize and implement health and health management-related scientific research projects, and promote the development of health and health science and technology innovation.
