Yulin Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau Functional Information

(a) To formulate and organise the implementation of policies on the ideology and politics, management and security, and resettlement of veterans in the city, and to commend the spirit and values of veterans who have made sacrifices and contributions to the Party, the State and the people.

(b) Responsible for the transfer and resettlement of military cadres, demobilised cadres, retired and retired cadres, retired soldiers and retired and retired employees without military status, as well as the service and management of veterans who have chosen their own jobs and employment.

(c) Organising and guiding the city's education and training of veterans, and coordinating support for the employment and entrepreneurship of veterans and family members deployed with the army (d) Revising and formulating, in conjunction with the relevant departments, the city's policies on special safeguards for veterans, and organising the implementation thereof.

(e) Organising and coordinating the implementation of housing security for retired military personnel who have been handed over to local governments, other retired military personnel who meet the conditions, and retired and retired employees without military status, as well as the protection of veterans' medical care, social insurance and other entitlements.

(f) Organising and guiding the service management and pension work for disabled and injured veterans, formulating planning policies for veterans' medical care, convalescence and old-age institutions, and guiding their implementation. It also undertakes work related to disabled veterans who are unfit for further service. It organises and guides the work of guaranteeing military supply services.

(vii) Organising and guiding the city's work of supporting the military. Responsible for active military personnel, retired military personnel, military civilians and military families preferential treatment, pensions and other work, as well as the Kuomintang war veterans and other relevant personnel preferential treatment policy implementation.

(H) is responsible for the honours and rewards for martyrs and veterans, the management and maintenance of military cemeteries and commemorative activities, undertakes the work related to the protection of heroes and martyrs in accordance with the law, does a good job in protecting the memorial facilities for martyrs, and selects and promotes the advanced and typical deeds of retired military personnel, retired military personnel work units and individuals.

(ix) Supervising and checking the implementation of laws, regulations and policies related to veterans in the city, and organising and carrying out the maintenance of the rights and interests of veterans and the help and assistance of the people concerned.

(j) Completing other tasks assigned by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government. Undertake the daily affairs of the Office of the Municipal Leading Group for Double Support Work.
