Qinzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics Functional Information
The Qinzhou Bureau of Statistics is the functional department of the Qinzhou Municipal People's Government in charge of the city's statistics and national economic accounting. Its main responsibilities are:
(a) In accordance with national laws, regulations, policies and formulated regulations on statistical work, statistical modernization and construction planning and survey plans issued by the State and Autonomous Region Bureau of Statistics, organizing, leading and comprehensively coordinating the statistical work of counties, districts, departments and units and the work of national economic accounting, supervising and inspecting the implementation of statistical laws, regulations and registering statistical management in accordance with the law.
(b) Accurate, timely and comprehensive completion of the higher statistical departments assigned by the professional statistical tasks; the development of the city's local statistical survey plan, the finalization of departmental statistical standards.
(C) Organize major national census; unify and coordinate social and economic surveys of counties, districts, departments and units; collect, collate and provide city-wide basic statistical information; analyze, forecast and supervise the national economy, social development and scientific and technological progress; collect, collate and provide domestic and foreign statistical information for analysis and comparison; and provide decision-making consultancy to the municipal party committee and the municipal government.
(d) To unify the verification, management, announcement and publication of basic citywide statistical information, and to regularly release statistical information on the city's national economic and social development.
(e) To establish and improve the city's statistical information automation system and statistical database system, and to uniformly formulate the basic standards and operating rules for the statistical database networks of counties, districts, departments and units.
(F) Supervision and management of the central government and autonomous regions allocated special statistics, organization and implementation of the city's statistical professional and technical job evaluation and qualification examination work and statistical cadres education and training work.
