I. Main responsibilities

Responsible for the city's judicial and administrative compulsory isolation drug treatment and drug rehabilitation work; support community drug treatment and community rehabilitation work.
(II) Guiyang Municipal Legal Aid Center (Guiyang Municipal Public Legal Service Center) (full section level)
Organizing and implementing legal aid work in accordance with the law; accepting and examining applications for legal aid; assigning lawyers, grass-roots legal service workers, legal aid volunteers and other legal aid personnel to provide legal aid, and undertaking some legal aid cases; paying legal aid subsidies; carrying out publicity on legal aid; assisting in the construction of the city's public legal service system and platform; undertaking the operation of the window of the municipal public legal service center (b) Acting as the legal adviser of the government and providing legal advice and legal services for major decisions of the government or various functional departments; participating in the handling of emergencies and related stabilization work; and undertaking other work assigned by the municipal government and higher-level operational departments.

It is responsible for the investigation and research on the universal problems in the construction of administration in accordance with the law and the rule of law government in the city, and undertakes the relevant research topics on the construction of the rule of law government; and carries out the academic exchanges on the rule of law within and outside the province and at home and abroad.
