Guizhou Provincial Department of Veterans Affairs Functional Information

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Veterans' Affairs, as a constituent department of Guizhou Province, is responsible for implementing the guidelines, policies and decisions of the Central Committee of the CPC on the work of veterans, and adhering to and strengthening the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC on the work of veterans in the performance of its duties.

Its main responsibilities are: to formulate policies and regulations on the ideology and politics of veterans, management and security, and resettlement and preferential treatment in Guizhou, and to organize the implementation of such policies and regulations; to praise and commend the spirit and values of veterans who have made sacrifices and dedication to the Party, the State and the people; and to be responsible for the handover of and resettlement of military cadres in the military, demobilized cadres, retired cadres, retired soldiers, and retired and retired workers without military status, and the management of services of veterans who have independently chosen their own jobs and employment, Treatment and security work, organizing and guiding the education and training of veterans, preferential treatment and pension, help and assistance, organizing and guiding the province's support for the military, responsible for the honorary awards for martyrs and veterans, military cemeteries, and commemorative activities and other duties.
