Pingxiang City is located in the southern border of the motherland, and Vietnam, a province of three counties (Lang Son City, Vinh Long County, Cao Loc County, Truong Dinh County) border, the border is 97 kilometers long, known as “China's southern gate,” known as one of the important nodes of Guangxi's openness to ASEAN cooperation city. --Thousand years of strong pass. Pingxiang has a long history and culture, and in Qin Dynasty, it was categorized into Xiangxian County, which is known as “three counties in Lingnan” together with Guilin County and Nanhai County; in Northern Song Dynasty, it was set up as Pingxiang Dong, which is how it got the name of “Pingxiang”. Within the territory, there is the Friendship Pass, the only one of the nine famous passes in China that is still in use today, which was built in the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 2,000 years. Surrounding the “Friendship Pass”, a series of major historical events have been staged successively. In 1885, Feng Zicai, a famous general at the end of the Qing Dynasty, led his troops to achieve the “Great Victory of Zhennan Pass” against the French, and in 1907, Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of the revolution, personally fired the first salvo of the “Zhennan Pass Uprising” against the Qing Dynasty, which was organized by the Chinese government. “In 1907, the revolutionary Sun Yat-sen himself fired the first salvo against the Qing Dynasty and held the Zhennan Pass Uprising, and on December 11, 1949, the People's Liberation Army (PLA) planted the five-star red flag on the Zhennan Pass and declared the liberation of the whole territory of Guangxi (December 11th has thus become the “District Celebration Day”).
