Beijing Municipal Administration of Government Services and Data Management Functional Information

Beijing Municipal Administration of Government Services and Data Management (hereinafter referred to as the municipal government services administration) was officially established in November 2018, which mainly undertakes the following responsibilities:

1. Being responsible for the overall coordination and promotion of the streamlined administration and strengthened regulation, reform on service optimization, and reform on administrative approval system.

2. Being responsible for coordinating and promoting the building of the municipal government services system.

3. Being responsible for the municipal development of "Internet + Government Services" to plan for the overall building of an integrated "network" for government services.

4. Being responsible for the planning and construction of the citizen service hotline working system and management of the citizen service hotline work of the municipality.

5. Being responsible for promoting, guiding, coordinating and supervising the public information and government-related disclosures of the municipality.

6. Being responsible for the service and management of the municipality's online intermediary service trading platform and comprehensive public resource trading sub-platform.

7. Being responsible for the comprehensive coordination of services for the central and state organs, the military forces stationed in Beijing,  central state-owned enterprises and public institutions based in Beijing and offices of other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in Beijing.

8. Completing other tasks assigned by the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the municipal government.

The municipal government services administration has an organizational structure composed of 17 internal departments, the Party Committee of Organs (Division of Personnel) and the Labor Union. The internal departments include: the General Office, Policy and Regulation Division, Press and Publicity Division (Office for the Municipal Government Bulletin), Reform and Coordination Division, Division of Government Services System Development, Division for Administrative Approval Reforms, Division for Administrative Approval Services Management, Division for Management of Public Resources Trading Services, IT and Informatization Division, Division for Government Information Disclosure, Division for Government Affairs Disclosure, Division for Government Website Development and Management, Division of Services for Central and State Institutions, Division of Services for Military Force Stationed in Beijing, Division of Services for Local Offices in Beijing, Finance Division, and Division for Reform of Public Complaint Handling Services.

There are three public institutions affiliated to the municipal government services administration, i.e. Beijing Citizen Hotline Service Center, the Operation Center for the Beijing Online Government Services Platform, and Beijing Municipal Government Portal Management Center.
