Baise Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau Functional Information
As a constituent department of the People's Government of Baise City, the Baise Bureau of Veterans' Affairs is responsible for implementing the guidelines, policies and decisions of the Central Committee of the Party, the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and the Baise Municipal Party Committee on the work of veterans, and adhering to and strengthening the centralised and unified leadership of the Party on the work of veterans in the process of fulfilling its duties.
Main responsibilities: to formulate and organise the implementation of the city's ideological and political, management and security, and resettlement and preferential treatment policies for veterans, and to commend and show the spirit of sacrifice and dedication of veterans to the Party, the country and the people and their value orientation; to be responsible for the transfer and resettlement of the city's military cadres, demobilised cadres, retired cadres, retired soldiers and retired employees without military status, as well as the selection of their own jobs and employment.
