Baise Municipal Health Commission Functional Information
The Baise Health Committee implements the guidelines, policies and decision-making arrangements of the Central Government, the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and the Municipal Party Committee on health work, and adheres to and strengthens the Party's centralised and unified leadership of health work in the course of fulfilling its duties. The main responsibilities are:
(a) to implement the laws, regulations and policies of the Party, State and Autonomous Region on the development of health, traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine, organise the formulation of the city's health policy for all people, be responsible for drafting local normative documents for the development of health, traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine, formulate the city's health planning and policies and measures, develop local standards and technical specifications and organise their implementation. The Municipal Health Commission and the Municipal Medical Protection Bureau will strengthen the system and policy convergence in medical care, medical insurance and medicine, establish a communication and consultation linkage mechanism, collaborate to promote the reform of the medical and health system, and improve the efficiency of the use of medical resources and the level of medical protection.
