Beijing Xicheng District Development and Reform Commission is responsible for the overall coordination of the national economy and social development of the district, the economic system reform of the comprehensive coordination of the district government departments.

It is also responsible for the formulation of reward programmes for key financial sources and the cash rewards for enterprises, and contacting and servicing key enterprises such as central enterprises in the district.
