Statutory duties of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Guizhou Province
I. Guizhou Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is a department of the provincial government, at the level of department.

(iii) Formulating policies for deepening the reform of the rural economic system and consolidating and improving the basic rural business system. It is responsible for work related to the reform and management of farmers' contracted land and rural residential bases. Responsible for the reform of the rural collective property rights system, guiding the development of rural collective economic organizations and collective asset management. Guides the construction and development of farmers' cooperative economic organizations, agricultural socialized service systems, and new agricultural business subjects.
(d) Guiding the development of rural specialty industries, agricultural product processing industry and leisure agriculture. Put forward proposals to promote the circulation of bulk agricultural products, and cultivate and protect agricultural brands. Publish agricultural and rural economic information, monitor and analyze agricultural and rural economic operation. Undertake work related to agricultural statistics and agricultural and rural informatization.
(e) Responsible for the supervision and management of various agricultural industries such as planting, animal husbandry, fisheries, agricultural reclamation and agricultural mechanization. Guiding the production of grain and other agricultural products. Adjust and optimize the structure of agricultural industry. Organize the construction of modern agricultural industrial system, production system, business system, and guide the standardization of agricultural production. Responsible for the supervision and management of fisheries and fishing ports.

(VII) organization of agricultural resources zoning work. Guides the protection and management of agricultural land, fishery waters and agricultural biological species resources, and is responsible for the protection of aquatic wildlife, arable land and permanent basic farmland quality protection. Guiding the environmental management of agricultural products and clean agricultural production. Guides the development of facility agriculture, ecological recycling agriculture, water-saving agriculture, as well as the comprehensive development and utilization of rural renewable energy and the development of agricultural biomass industry. Lead the management of exotic species. Organize and carry out the construction of modern agricultural parks.
(H) is responsible for supervision and management of agricultural production materials and agricultural inputs. Organize veterinary medical administration, veterinary drug administration and drug testing work, responsible for practicing veterinarians and livestock and poultry slaughtering industry management.
