Laibin Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau Functional Information
(a) Formulating and organizing the implementation of normative documents on the ideology and politics of veterans, management and security, as well as resettlement and preferential treatment, and praising the spirit and values of veterans who have sacrificed and dedicated themselves for the Party, the State and the people.
(B) is responsible for the city's military rehabilitation cadres, demobilized cadres, retired retired cadres, retired soldiers and retired retired employees without military status of the transfer and resettlement work and independent choice of employment, employment of veterans service management.
(C) Organizing and guiding the city's education and training of veterans, and coordinating support for the employment and entrepreneurship of veterans and family members deployed with the military.
(d) Formulating special protection policies for veterans in conjunction with relevant departments and organizing their implementation.
(e) Organizing and coordinating the implementation of housing security for retired military personnel who have been handed over to local governments, other retired military personnel who meet the conditions, and retired employees without military status, as well as the protection of veterans' medical care, social insurance and other entitlements.
(f) Organizing and guiding the service management and pension work for disabled and injured veterans, and formulating planning policies and guiding the practice of medical, convalescent and old-age institutions for veterans. It also undertakes work related to disabled veterans who are unfit for further service. Organize and guide the work of military supply service guarantee.

(H) is responsible for honorary awards for martyrs and veterans, management and maintenance of military cemeteries, commemorative activities, etc., undertakes the work related to the protection of heroes and martyrs in accordance with the law, examines and approves the list of martyrs' memorial buildings to be included in the national, autonomous region and city's key protection units, assists the superiors in doing a good job in the protection of overseas martyrs and foreign martyrs' memorial facilities in China, and sums up the commendation and propaganda of advanced typical stories of veterans, veteran work units and individuals. (i) To summarize, commend and publicize the advanced and typical deeds of veterans, veterans' work units and individuals.
(ix) Guiding, supervising and checking the implementation of laws, regulations and policy measures related to veterans in the city, and organizing and carrying out the protection of the rights and interests of veterans and the help and assistance of the people concerned.
(j) Completing other tasks assigned by higher authorities and the municipal government.
(XI) Functional transformation. The Bureau of Veterans Affairs of Laibin City shall strengthen the ideological and political work of veterans and the construction of service and guarantee system, establish and improve the centralized and unified system of management and guarantee of veterans with clear responsibilities, coordinate all forces to better serve military personnel, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of military personnel, make military personnel a profession respected by the whole society, praise and commend the spirit and values of veterans who have sacrificed and dedicated themselves for the Party, the country and the people, and better serve to enhance the combat effectiveness of the troops and the people. To better organize and guarantee the enhancement of the combat effectiveness and cohesion of the troops.
