(a) Implementing national policies, laws and regulations on statistics, formulating implementation plans in accordance with the Statistical Law of the People's Republic of China and the statistical reforms, statistical science development plans and statistical survey plans formulated by the State and Autonomous Region Bureau of Statistics, and formulating implementation plans in the light of the actual situation in the city, organizing, leading, and comprehensively coordinating the statistical work of counties (cities, districts) and departments, and supervising and checking the implementation of statistical laws, regulations and rules.
