According to the “General Office of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, the General Office of the Hainan Provincial People's Government on the issuance of ‘Haikou Municipal People's Government Institutional Reform Program’ notice ‘(Qiongbanfa [2009] No. 39) and’ Haikou Municipal People's Government General Office of Haikou Municipality on the issuance of Haikou Municipal Bureau of Statistics main responsibilities within the organization and the staffing provisions of the notice ”(Haifu Office [2010] No. 40), the setup of Haikou Municipal Bureau of Statistics for the city's Haikou Municipal Bureau of Statistics, as the city's statistical work of the municipal government departments, for the administrative unit at the division level, with six offices: Bureau Office, General Statistics Division, Regulations and Design Management Division, Fixed Assets Investment Division, Social Science and Technology and Trade Statistics Division (plus the Service Statistics Division), Industrial and Transportation Statistics Division (plus the Energy Statistics Division), Statistics Division of the Rural Economy. There are three centers: Haikou Statistics and Census Center, Haikou Data Management Center (plus Haikou Statistical Monitoring Center), and Haikou Social Opinion Survey Center.
