(a) Implementing the guidelines and policies of the Central Government and Beijing Municipality on auditing work, responsible for formulating the rules and systems of auditing work in the district and supervising the implementation.

(b) Responsible for reporting to the district government, informing the relevant departments of the district government of the audit situation, and putting forward proposals for the system and improvement of relevant policies, regulations and measures in the district.

(iii) Responsible for auditing and supervising the government procurement work in the District.

(iv) Responsible for directly conducting the following audits:

1. the implementation of the budget and other financial income and expenditure of the government at this level;

2. the implementation and final accounts of the budgets and other financial revenues and expenditures of the government departments (including directly subordinate units) and lower levels of the government at this level;

3. the assets, liabilities, profits and losses of state-owned financial institutions in the region authorised by the Beijing Municipal Audit Bureau;

4. the financial revenues and expenditures of state institutions and other institutions using financial funds in the region;

5. the assets, liabilities, profit and loss of state-owned enterprises and enterprises with state-owned capital in a controlling or dominant position in the region;

6. the budget implementation and final accounts of government investment and construction projects mainly invested by the government;

7. the financial income and expenditure of social security funds, redemption donation funds and other related funds and funds managed by district government departments and other units entrusted by the government;

8. other laws and regulations shall be conducted by the Audit Bureau of audit matters.

(e) Being responsible for submitting reports on the results of the audit of the budget execution of the district to the government of the district and the Beijing Municipal Audit Bureau, and submitting reports on the audit of the budget execution and other financial revenues and expenditures to the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the district on the entrustment of the district by the government of the district.

(f) Being responsible for auditing the tenure of economic responsibility of Party and government leading cadres at and below the division level and leading personnel of state-owned enterprises and state-controlled enterprises in the district.

(vii) Responsible for conducting special audits and investigations on specific matters related to the state's financial revenue and expenditure to relevant departments and units, and reporting the results of the data investigation to the government at the current level and to the audit authorities at the next higher level.

(viii) Being responsible for conducting industrial audits, special audits and audit investigations on the implementation of financial policies and measures of the District.

(ix) Responsible for the operational guidance and supervision of the internal audit work of the district.

(XI) Undertake other matters assigned by the district government.
