- Chongzuo City is located in the southern border of China, and was established in August 2003, which is the youngest district city in Guangxi. The city has five counties, one district and one city under its jurisdiction, covering an area of 17,300 square kilometers, with a total population of 2.52 million at the end of 2023, of which 2.23 million, or 89%, were Zhuang.2024 In January, Chongzuo was named a national model city for the progress of national unity, and among the seven counties (cities and districts) under its jurisdiction, there is one national model county (city) for the progress of national unity, and five autonomous regions for the progress of national unity model counties (districts).
Chongzuo is a heroic land. Many shocking historical dramas have been staged here.
