Donglan County is located in the northwest of Gui, the south edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the middle reaches of Hongshui River; east of Jinchengjiang District, west of Fengshan County, south of Dahua and Bama Counties, north of Nandan and Tian'e Counties, 308 kilometers away from Nanning City, the capital of the autonomous region, and 108 kilometers away from Jinchengjiang District of Hechi City, covering an area of 2437 square kilometers, with the jurisdiction of 6 towns, 8 townships and 147 villagers committees, 5 communities and 2963 villagers' groups and 3613 natural tunnels, with a total population of 319.9 thousand people.
