- Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County is located in the northeastern part of Guangxi, with a total area of 1,572 square kilometres, and the terrain can be described as ‘five and a half mountains and four plains, half of the mountains and water around the fields’. The county has 12 townships, 137 villages and 19 communities, with a total population of 343,800, of which 201,500 are Yao, accounting for 58.61% of the total population.
