Pubei County is located in southern Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone coastal core city - the north of Qinzhou City, east of Yulin Bobai County, west of Lingshan County, south of Hepu County, north of Guigang City, Hengzhou City, Xingye County. The county has a total area of 2,526 square kilometers, jurisdiction over 15 towns and 2 streets 274 village committees (communities), with a total population of about 960,000 people, is the “Hometown of World Longevity”, “Hometown of Longevity in China”, “Hometown of Banana in China ”, “China's red vertebrate mushroom township”, “Chinese honeybee township”, is one of the 33 agricultural products in Guangxi's main producing areas, 35 industrial key counties.
Long history. Qin Shihuang 33 years (214 BC), the unification of Lingnan, set Guilin, Xiang County, Nanhai County, now Pubei County territory under the jurisdiction of Xiang County. The county is rich in resources. There are listed as a national key protected forest area of the country's largest continuous area of 110,000 acres of natural secondary red vertebrae forest. There are more than 70 mineral deposits and important mineralization points in the territory, and more than 10 kinds of lead, zinc, silver ore, limestone, granite, etc. have been developed and utilized. There are more than 200,000 mu of bamboo forests and rich mango weaving resources, weaving bamboo and mango and other inexhaustible materials. Rich in water resources, the county has more than 80 rivers of different sizes belonging to the Nanliujiang and Xijiang River systems, and the area of freshwater aquaculture that can be developed and utilized amounts to more than 100,000 mu.
